"*De-Lurk* Hello."

Hello all. I've been reading Eyrie stuff for years, and am occasionally appalled by how many of the obscure references I actually "get".

(My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts, by the by. To her, I believe "fanfiction" is a dirty word. Then again, she likes Yugi-Oh, so what does she know?)

To hear, one must be silent.

You know Dude, mixed relationships like yours will have problems in the long run.
Unless you can convert her to the cause, this will always be a bone of contention between you two.
On the other hand, if she is a “Trophy Girlfriend”, please ignore this post!

Somewhere out there, probability being what it is, there is a relationship disintegrating because of the stresses placed upon it by "fanfictional differences", which ought to reassure anyone that the universe is not a sane and reasonable place.

It isn't my relationship, though. I operate by assuming that women aren't supposed to make sense to us, just as we likely make little sense to them. Tidier that way.
