#0, First time poster... $5.00 if you recognize where my moniker comes from.

Hi, I'm Eric Pile.

...

Well, THAT was a neutral introduction... Anyway I live in Everett, WA. Love Anime, Japanese language, and reading of all sorts.

Quick rundown on me; past, present, future(?)

Past: School. I've just exited High school; it was unpleasant, especially junior year. Started Anime in 95 with BGC and A-ko. Been reading Eyrie since... 96 I guess. It's been great reading your stuff.

Present: Attending Everett Community (AKA the 'University of Wetmore')

Future: I'm going to become a cop. Next summer i'm going to Japan for 3 weeks.

That's about it... But seriously $5.00 to the first person who knows what manga my nickname is from.

Later

"Aww, he's not mad... Are you Captain Red Beard?"
"Captain...?"
"Hey, if I had a beard like yours I'd _insist_ upon bieng called 'Captain.'"

erm... not quite. Never heard of it before. But w/ a review like that, perhaps it's better that way.

Ah, manga. I thought it was a reference to that horrendous one-panel comic strip with the obnoxiously intelligent (but thankfully silent) dog.
